About Christiane

Living the Matriarch's Call

"Elder presence is a live current of love and power moving through a body that remembers."

I am an elder, writer, mentor, and field-weaver, living into the evolving dance of unified love and power in service to life.

At some point, the Matriarch’s Call began to find me—first as a whisper, then as a rhythm I could no longer ignore. I learned to respond with willingness, letting the Call speak through me in forms others can meet.

Everything shared here is part of an ongoing inquiry—woven from decades of experience and wide open to what may still be possible.

Through mentoring, writing, intergenerational gatherings, and photography—all shaped by deep inquiry—I offer what I can: experiences, questions, stories, and gestures of invitation for those who, like me, sense something unnamed stirring in the cracks of this life and are learning to stay available—to encounter what arises from the unknown and welcome it with curiosity and care.

Ways the Call moves through my work

Each medium is a gesture of invitation—different doors into the same field of availability.

Mentoring

I offer one-to-one accompaniment in seasons of transition—meeting you inside what is already moving. Together we tend a shared field that trusts your pace and honours what is quietly coming into form.

Writing

I write to stay in conversation with what finds me—questions that stir, images that linger, moments that ask to be met. Each piece is an invitation to those who resonate, to meet there too, and listen together.

Gathering

I host—often in collaboration with others—circles and convenings that let many ages breathe together. Weaving the strength of difference into a shared rhythm, these gatherings become living inquiries into how we meet one another, what wants to emerge between us, and how the matriarchal energy can nourish the whole.

Photography

Sometimes an image finds me when I slow down enough to truly be with the world around me. These moments of encounter become invitations—held through the lens, and sometimes met with words, as a way of staying in relationship with what revealed itself.

I'd love to hear what finds you as you move through this space. Whether it's a letter, a story, a few words of reflection, or a moment of witnessing—I will receive your words with gratitude.
